Daffodils

A symbol of hope & a sign of season change.

Daffodil other names are Narcissus & Jonquil. A trumpet shape in the center surrounded by the outer petals makes them easily accessible for our favorite insects the bees.

They come in more colors than you may know apart from the Traditional yellow, white & orange they also come in pink and purple, there are many varieties and most of the world daffodils are grown here in the UK & Holland.

A bulb-flowering perennial lasting three to five years. They are self-propagating so they will come back every year long after the original bulbs are gone.

They are very versatile & can be grown in pots or directly in the ground, they are not fussy about the soil & will grow in the sun or the shade making them almost effortless to grow to add color to our garden before our other flowers even think to bloom.

Care: Cut the stem to bring them indoors and enjoy them

but leave the leaves until they have gone yellow they need

this time to ensure they come back healthy next year.

Wear gloves when planting as they can cause skin irritation

when handling.
